Light therapy mask specifications

The light therapy mask is made of soft silicone and contains 4 different wavelengths of light therapy: 460nm (blue light), 590nm (yellow light), 630nm (red light) and 850nm (infrared light). The light mask is connected to the controller, which also functions as a battery unit. In total, the mask contains 240 LEDs. Properties of the light waves

The different light wavelengths in the Heat Sense light therapy mask each have their own specific effect on the skin, based on how deeply the light penetrates and which biological processes it activates. Here is an overview of what blue, yellow, red and infrared light wavelengths are typically used for:

Blue light (approx. 415–470 nm)

• Has an antibacterial effect: Kills acne-causing bacteria
• Reduces inflammation and breakouts: Good for impure skin and teenage acne
• Superficial penetration: Only penetrates the upper layers of the skin

Good for: Acne, oily skin, inflammatory conditions in the skin  

Yellow light (approx. 570–590 nm)

• Soothes and relieves: Reduces redness and sensitivity
• Stimulates lymphatic drainage: Helps reduce swelling and bags under the eyes
• Improves skin tone: Provides a more even complexion and glow

Good for: Rosacea, sensitive skin, redness, tired and lifeless skin  

Red light (approx. 620–660 nm)

• Increases collagen production: Stimulates fibroblasts in the skin
• Improves blood circulation: Increases oxygen supply to the skin
• Promotes cell renewal: Provides firmer and healthier skin

Good for: Anti-aging, fine lines, wrinkles, dry and aging skin  

Infrared light (approx. 800–940+ nm)

• Penetrates deeper into the tissue: Reaches connective tissue and muscles
• Reduces inflammation: Relieves pain and swelling
• Supports healing: Often used for the treatment of injuries and wounds

Good for: Deeper skin renewal, joint pain, tension, anti-aging at the cellular level

How to use the infrared light therapy mask

Elastic straps are included, which you can easily adapt the light therapy mask to your face. Remember to also mount the 2 eye protectors. Then simply connect the mask to the remote control/controller and turn on the controller. There are several different options for wavelengths and time/auto-off.
